Can anyone point me to a tutorial...

I'm looking for something that will teach me how to put a border on an image but make it look like the image is "jumping out" of the frame. Not sure how best to explain what I'm thinking of, but hopefully someone will know!

If not what hillwalkinggirl has put, do you mean the drop shadow frames ? where no real hard frame edge, but the shadow makes it look like it is framed ? if that makes any sense whatsoever its getting late

Yeah, I agree Ian ... A drop shadow on the image, mounted in a white frame.

Been looking though some old bookmarks for you, but alas all have changed there pages to show some other item.

Did find this older TP thread about boarders that may offer some leads though.

Can I also suggest trying out Xara Xtreme for doing effects like that? You'll achieve the same results in a fraction of the time, including the photo borders and the drop shadow plus bevels and all if you want them.

You can download the whole program on a 30 day trial at www.xara.com. There's also a video tutorial somebody has done here which gives a basic explanation of the "cutting out" process
