Chevrolet or Chrysler perhaps
The film is High-Rise and based in the uk in the 70's were they selling chevrolet over here in the 70's? The badge looks like chevrolet to me too.
i'm wondering if the badge could be a jenson badge.
Maybe the car was just a mock up.
It's neither of those. The badge has overtones of Ford Thunderbird but the ends of the wings are angled in the wrong direction.Chevrolet or Chrysler perhaps
I thought it was late 70s but could well be early 80s. The book was 75 I assumed it was 70s.

Yeah it is a stag it's in the film quite a bit.

Well done I couldn't find one with the vent I was looking for ages.Citroën CX 25 DTR Turbo 2
The lack of chrome is an anachronism on a 70's film don’t you think?

I really miss square nosed cars. No one makes them anymore. The only one I can think of is Land/range rover. I assume it's a pedestrian safety thing. I think pretty much all my favourite cars have one.I saw 5 door hatchback/4-door fastback and a strangely shaped back window - and I thought CX,
When Citroen made interesting cars....................
very sad that when you see new car listings the engine lineup is dominated by turbodiesels.
It's more for fuel saving I think, square nosed cars have the aerodynamics of a brick.I

It also means bumper scrapes are less likely and makes it easier to parallel park. It's more for fuel saving I think, square nosed cars have the aerodynamics of a brick.
I don't know about that. The bonnet on my cmax slopes away in such a way that I can not see the front end of the car, its disconcerting. I am a short arse though. It also means bumper scrapes are less likely and makes it easier to parallel park.
So does my Focus but you get an idea of where the front is. Even though the front is curved, the front looks square from the driving seat, meaning the cut off corners give you more room for manoeuvre, not only that it also gives other motorists room to manoeuvre and not hit your car if they insist on parallel parking with the car facing the wrong way like the majority of my neighbours do.I don't know about that. lol i love them!6 1/2 grand for a Viva HB? They're trying it on, surely?
I really like the look of Vauxhall and Opel of that age viva, Firenza, manta A etc.. not got a great reputation though.I used to have an HA. Bloody horrible - but extremely cheap (it was given to me - an ex-boss had bought it for its reg number and just wanted shot of it!) Drove it until the clutch failed completely then sent it away on the back of a scrappy's truck. IIRC I got £50 for the thing.
I guess it must be in here somewhere? 33 seconds in;

I love the film and the score in risky business. In the middle is either a Stag or Mk2 2000 / 2.5PI . They all had twin headlights, so I suspect that they have manipulated the image to remove the inner one on each side.
Also, interesting to hear "Love on a real train" (sort of) by Tangerine Dream used in a movie trailer, but not for the film it was part of the score for (Risky Business).
