Any one ever had any dealing with Camtech at all???

Never heard of them - but they do have some interesting things on their website - an unused 1984 Olympic edition Canon F1 AE - a snip at £1395!

having a bit of a dig around they seem legit, and have a couple of things that i need, ok more want

Seems you can visit their premises by appointment, so probably legit

That address though is out near some very large traveller settlements, so perhaps approach with caution

They're legit and he's not a traveller. Friend bought a Sigma 500mm f/4.5 from him and collected it

Wasn't suggesting they were travellers, just take extra care to lock cars and keep possessions out of plain view

If it's Camtech near Cambridge they're very nice people to deal with and usually have a great selection of used equipment

They had a flash I wanted, 430ex, I called them and the guy was polite and helpful. I ordered the item and its just arrived today, is MINT as described, box perfect and all manuals and such (its used item), plus they offer 6 month warranty and the item was the same price as they go on ebay for - so very happy.

Delivery was promt and item was very well packaged.

I know Paul. Last time I spoke to him he seemed really cagey about me popping by. I've emailed him to see if I can make an appointment so hopefully he'll be more accomodating this time
