Can anyone please recommend a good camoflauge cover to cover the length of a 120 - 400 lens please.

Got the hide now need to cover the lens that sticks out:shrug:

Thanks.

I use a camo patterned Buff from the local outdoor shop. It's a cheap option but no good in bad weather.

wildlife watching supplies ones I use, mainly for lens protection than anything else as I'm normally found resting it on rocks and god knows what else

No probs,

The all purpose green (apg) ones seem to be the best colour wise, here's some on my 600:

note though to anyone that owns a 600 vr that you can't use the full set of camo as you can't reverse the lenshoods with it all on :(

You can reverse the hood just fine with the Lens Coat range (although more expensive of course), I have that on my 600 AFS and my friend has it on his 600 VR and there are no probs :)

I know, I just couldn't be bothered to send these back and I had to use them a few times. I very rarely use both bits of the lens hood anyway so it's no great shakes

I just use a bit of camo cloth wrap round the lens hood held with elastic bands cheap simple and removable.
But offers no real protection from bumps, the weather or will be easy to keep in place if your out in the field crawling around. I suspect many others, like myself, use camo covers more for the protection they offer than the 'camo' side of it :)

(depends on your lenses and use of course)

here you go: http://www.wildlifewatchingsupplies.co.uk/

If they don't have the ones that match your lens exactly you can send in the sizes and they'll make a set to fit

Thoroughly recommend there lens/camera covers, have 2 and they've coped with all the elements the UK can throw at them, the camera and lens. All stayed dry, but being a woose, got the fleece line ones to keep the hands warm :D
