Quick question for anyone who wears a camo hood that only leaves the eye slits open and wears glasses, does it steam the glasses up like these masks you use for the virus problem. Thanks, russ.

I suppose it depends where you are and the time of year?

Thanks will give it a go

The material is a mesh/netting type and you can breathe easily through it. I bought it to use it for shooting guns not cameras, but the need/result is the same. It also doubles up as a camo net if you're shooting from the car window.

Russ I have huge problems with my specs steaming up, I almost always shoot in a face mask or army scrim ,like Trev above mentioned, I also use a 4foot square of the stuff, great little tip from Trevor

I 've pretty much tried everything to resolve my problems ........LMAO there is actually a product called "cat crap" which helps, but i've found nowt that really works on a really cold still morning, when humidity levels are high . There is also the washing up liquid trick wipe of buff off, ( like the cat crap ,which I assure you is genuine ,not me being me  ) it helps sure but nowt really works

It's so frustrating Russ it drives me nuts................................ the amount of close images I shoot barely able to see................... two of my own fav roe images were made pointing a red square at the orange blob at the top. ie a deer's head, but orange blob was all I could see.

Buddy if you ever find a 100 % solution ( bar contact lenses) ,would you alert me please. there has to be a workaround ,but I'm at a loss to find it. Mate it might be worth trying the cat crap, it certainly helps,i'm often down low stalking so my problems are in part to the extreme end of what might be experienced.

all the luck

I had problems photographing football matches with glasses and a mask and got some 'Muc-off' spray which is for motorcycle visors I believe (other brands/products are available) - so far it's working really well - spray it on glasses, wipe off excess with paper towel and each application is effective for about five days

I've been having the same problem at work with masks and glasses and have found a solution!
Micropore tape - a strip stuck to the top of the mask and along the face creates a seal preventing my glasses from steaming up.
May be worth trying for your situation. Hurts like a b***h pulling it off after an hour or two

Billy ,I'm going to look into the softer options, from the 2 D's but straight up my admiration :D

Russ thanks for posting I'd love to sort this one

Dave, I use those glasses that react to light and darken, any chance the product you are using might damage them.....you might just use similar?

cheers all
