Hi,

I am looking to order a new lens next week and Cameras2u seem to be the cheapest so far, has anyone used them?

Thanks

Rob

Would that be a Sigma 17-70 by any chance?

I wouldn't buy from them. Reason why - any company calling itself "whatever-2-u" or "something-4-u" immediately sounds fishy to me. Probably isn't, but, meh! ;)

It's an online company, which is owned by Jessops.

Good thing is, with the Jessops price match policies, they price match Cameras2u :D (That's how I got my 30D)

As said already, they are Jessops in disguise along with shopping4cameras.com Use them to price match in Jessops if they will and if you can't buy cheaper elsewhere.

Haha crafty. Ive never heard of it. I thought Jessops had an online shop at jessops.co.uk??? Or is that just for catalogue and what not??

£216 sounds like a very good price Rob I paid around £230 for mine if I remember rightly

I just got my new 70-300 from them, strangly their website is very similar to Jessops

I orderd and was told the lens was not going to be in stock till first week in Jan, it turned up yesterday :D They was very friendly and helpfull on the phone

Bought several bits of equipment from them always arrived next day...

Earlier this week ordered a Nikon L6 Coolpix from them for my Grandson, well he didn't have time to order on line....it arrived ok the next day !

A satisfied customer here :)

Bought a Canon 580EX Speedlite from them last week, arrived fast and in perfect order, well wrapped up - used CityLink as the courier. You can track your order through their site amd CityLink so you know when its been dispatched, etc.

They are part of Jessops, along with Shopping4cameras.

I would use them again, and if your going to use them check out www.camerapricebuster.co.uk as they have discount codes for various amounts.
