Why don't you have a word or drop Ian aka Kerso a line as he deals with Canon so maybe he can sort you out something.... Kerso he does have a ebay account to which I dont have to hand - but I'm sure if you contact him he could link you to it...

I bought my camera from ebay which was refurbished. Just check out the feedback and read the smallprint clearly though especially on the warranty issues.

My 450D has a 18-55IS - and of course all my photos are technically excellent and creatibvely perfect

back in the real world they are 'okay' but to be frank any modern DSLR is capable of taking great pictures - its much more about the capability of the person holding it.

My 450D (Rebel XSI) came with the IS kit lens (18-55mm) which is a great starter lens.
I have since bought several other lenses of which my fave is the 50mm f1.8 (nifty fifty)

I'm still learning mind, but it is my first SLR and absolutely love it.

Have you not heard anything back from Kerso (Ian)

You could get one from OSD (highly recommended) if you dont mind it being a "grey" market - onestop-digital Canon at least then you know its a NEW camera etc

The times I've bought from him, he does tend to go quiet, but I came to the conclusion that's 'cos he's got nothing to say and he's just checking prices/availability....

when you meet the new classified regs (of 25 posts and 60days membership) i have a mint 550d with kit lens and remote shutter and grip 1 year old and about 2500 clicks give me a msg and i will arrange a for sale post.....

oh rite thats cool, shame ive gotta wait, as 60days is ages away, as i would like it for the summer and take some pictures of the rest of the cricket matches we have lol but not to worry lol
