I had the misfortune to order from Camerabox in November, a total shambles.
I offered them a final chance to resolve the situation before I resorted to Watchdog and multiple forum postings. The charged my card for £600 for stock items and took them longer than 3 weeks to deliver it.
I was effectively £600 down on the run up to christmas and I couldn't order from elsewhere as I was at my credit limit yet they wouldnt credit the card back for 14-28 days if i recall correctly . This was an item reported IN STOCK at time of order. After confirming by email at least twice that I want it cancelled and the card refunded NOW!!!!....they delivered the goods using a next day courier, apprx 3 weeks after the order was placed and card charged. So it wasn't a mixup nor was it lost in transit nor held up due to the weather.
I was having correspondence with them all through the process and twice asked their MD to contact me - he or she never even emailed a response.
I'm generally a fair guy, and problems can happen anywhere in a supply chain. I gave the company three opportunites to deliver these goods after the original delivery was missed, yet they took the p 1 5 5.:nono:
NEVER AGAIN.
