Hi,

This is my first post of what I hope will be many, so please bear with me if it's in the wrong forum.
I currently have a Canon 5D and am looking to buy a Canon 100 - 400 L . By far the cheapest on-line price is Camerabox. I've never heard of the company, however, and their website has neither postal address or geographic telephone number. Does anyone have any experience of the company they may wish to share?

I have no personal experience of Camerabox but one of my friends has used them several times before and swears by them!

Others on this site have also recommended them in previous threads.

Just for your information, I bought my 100-400 from a member on here called KERSO (real name Ian). He sells all manner of Canon equipment and if you PM him, he'll send you a price list!

A quick Google search of 'Camerabox reviews' brings up mixed reviews.

Editted as I may have been a bit harsh first off.

I bought from them about 6 months ago and back then they were very good, some people here had problems about a month ago, including an item being a grey.

I'm hoping it was a blip on their part and they're imporved again.
 
Got my 70-300vr from them, great price and delivery.
Would use again.

Camerbox is a no-no-no-no for me. 2 colleagues at work have had their cards cloned & used. They are not sure how- but both got a camera from camerabox just previous to this.
 
Err, I hate to say this, but so was mine!!!

A flight to New York was put on my card, I had a hell of a job proving it wasnt bought by me. £540.

I've just received a 100-400L from Kerso this week. Excellent price, excellent communication. Can't fault him
