hello
just read a thread about camerabox and looked at the site.
what TP people have used this company and what was the service like. Is the stock UK as i am looking at one of the canon camera lens.

I bought a Panasonic TZ5 from them last year and it was in stock and they dispatched quickly - although other threads I have seen since state others weren't so lucky.

I had called beforehand (it took maybe 20 calls to get an answer) and was told it was EU stock, but on arrival the charger was a US charger with an adaptor (no problem as it suits us as a travel charger!) but the manuals/documents gave Panasonic addresses in Mexico.

Are Canon lenses not international Canon warranty anyway?

I bought two lenses less than a month ago. One was delayed by a week but overall a hassle free transaction and I had no cause for concern. Answered my email swiftly and clearly. I have read a few horror stories about them though. Still, I think i would be happy enough to get more lenses from them in the future. :) 2 year warranty so no hassle about wether its UK stock or not in my eyes but I stand to be corrected on that one!

thanks for reply.
the prices are quite keen on the website.

I bought my 55-250 from them. I was told it would take 2 to 3 weeks when I rang, and I received it in 2 to 3 days. I don't know whether it's UK stock or not, and I think the warranty is provided by them, rather than Canon (so probably not UK stock) but...

How does my two-year warranty work?

The first year is covered by the manufacturer. In the first 30 days, return the camera to us for exchange or repair. In the remaining 11 months, the camera is to go back to the manufacturer to be repaired. We can provide this information should you wish. The second year is covered by camerabox, who will liaise with the manufacturer to have the camera repaired at our own expense. In this period, the camera should be returned to us. Warranties cover parts and labour of cameras due to breakdown and do not cover accidental damage.

I guess it is UK stock then?

I bought my Speedlight from them and picked it up in person as was passing anyway. Not sure if its UK stock but was brand new etc.
Took about a month for the receipt to arrive though as they couldn't do it there and then.
Would probably use them again.
