How chuffed am I.......

Today my granddaughter said "camera" for the first time! She pointed at it in the magazine we were reading and said it :)

We spent the next hour teaching her to go "yay" when we said "Nikon" and "bluhh" when we said "Canon".

How old is she ? :)

My twins are 2 now and theyr both first word was "auto" (well it was something year ago or so) as theyr daddy likes cars lol

She won't last long out there saying camera! She's got to fit in with all the other kids. So you'd best start teaching her to say things like:

I was like...... then she was like
Innit
Yea....wha' ever....
 
My first words were "oh dear" ...think they have served me fairly well
 
My daughter (almost 2 years old) knows precisely what a camera is and is almost getting the idea of how to use one. She was playing with an old APS camera and she already says "Cheese" !!! before pressing the button !!!

I'm going to get her the Fisher Price kids camera soon (she would probably destroy anything else a little too quickly !! fingers on lens, dropping it etc... )

I must teach her the difference between Nikon and Canon

I'm waiting for my little one to expand his vocabulary from 'Dad' to 'ISO400, 1/100th @ f/8 and let's try a bit of flash in there for good measure'!! :D
