Camera upgrade advice

Hi,

Here's a challenge!

I'm trying to help a colleague upgrade to a DSLR on a very tight budget (£100). She currently uses a Minolta 404si Dynax and has various Minolta AF lenses which were bought at the same time as the camera (8 years ago). The lenses themselves are still in excellent condition and she can't afford to start again buying more lenses.
Can anyone recommend a digital camera body which would allow her to carry on using these existing lenses, still utilising the Autofocus. I guess something secondhand and in the order of 6MP would be adequate.

Unfortunately I know very little about Minolta cameras, so am struggling to help.:shrug:

Have a look at the Sony range, I think they'll be ok.

I doubt you'd get anything for £100, but for a little more you might get a second hand Sony Alpha A100 (10MP), or a Minolta 5D (6MP)....

Almost all Minolta fit AF lenses will work on both these cameras!

Thanks, I've found a Minolta 5D at a little over £100, which will do nicely.
