Right...sold the caravan...money coming Wednesday all being well. I also have a small amount saved at the moment and hubby is going to put some to it.

My problem is there are so many to choose from I am a bit confused.

I am hoping to take a course soon and don't want anything too basic. But nothing super expensive and high tech I'll overwhelm myself trying to figure it all out.
I will have at the end of the day around £450-£500 I can spend on a camera and a decent lens.
I will take loads of dog photos as I work with dogs and have 6 of my own...but I like nature and landscapes and want to try fancy stuff like the water drops and light art things I've seen some of you do.
I have been on websites looking at different things but not knowing what the features are for only makes it more confusing....

Any help is appreciated.
Cheers
Jules

Hi Jules.
I'd suggest you go to your camera shop (leave wallet at home!) and have a play with the various camera bodies. There are loads out there, whether you stick to the big two (Canon or Nikon) or go Olympus, Sony, Pentax, etc, they all do pretty much the same thing.

It's how comfortable it feels in your hands that really matters.

For your budget, you could get a body + a couple of lenses.

It's also worth considering second hand - a lot more bang for your buck.

There are several similar posts here too asking your very question, so have a read :)
