Camera tutorial

As I have a shiny new D3100 , I'd be interested in hearing about small class tutorials in driving the thing. Its ok reading a book, but being shown makes a world of difference .

I'm in Sth Lincs, and I'd be interested to hear recommends about suitable people who offer the service at reasonable costs.

I would think a look at your local yellow pages or even google will find you the professional photographers in your local area, and most will do camera tutorial work too in my experience.

But honestly, you can learn the very basics of driving your new camera by reading the handbook, and just playing with the camera and get out there and start taking "test shots".

And if anything stumps you or you want advice ask back here, there's usually plenty of people willing and able to help.

It was just that my son in law was working away a few months back and joined a photo course at the drop of a hat as someone had dropped out.

His photography skills went through the ceiling! He reckons its the best thing he has ever done....So....

We shall see.
