Camera Strap

I'm looking for a strap that is easily detachable so that when I mount my camera on a tripod the strap isn't in the way.

I use a Sigma 150-500mm so a comfortable strap is important but it needs to easily be removed, via a buckle system or similar.

Any recommendations?

Black Rapid or Q-strap slingstrap systems are recommended. I have the Black Rapid Sport, and would be unlikely to go back to a conventional strap

I have a black rapid rs-4 which I use with sigma 170-500mm. Can't fault it.

I too have the 150-500 and carry it using a Black rapid sport attached to the tripod collar. I have a manfrotto rc2 plate attached permanently using the black rapid rt3 adaptor.the clip snaps onto this. Take about 5 secs to remove the strap and mount

I have both Q strap and Optech, my strap of choice is Optech.
