Anyone recommend a strap for a beginner old strap hurt when wore for a long time on holiday, only really carry a 17-50 tamron or sigma 10-20 and recommendation £30 max

Black rapid all the way for me. Slightly more than £30 but well worth it.

Yep Black rapid here as well picked one up off the classifieds for only a little over your budget, they really are fantastic straps if a little pricey.

Another one here for Blackrapid,as those some people also like the Q- strap,a copy of the Blackrapid :)

Black rapid rs7 +1. Just brought a black rapid rs7 after previously buying a lowepro strap.have to say the rs7 is brilliant, takes the weigh of a d7000,grip,300mm f4 and 1.4tc very well, hardly know its there. If you are thinking of getting a heavier setup than the black rapid rs7 is worth the investment. Brought the black rapid over the QStrap mainly due to the likely better quality. the black rapid can be mounted to either the tripod collar or the camera tripod mount so its underneath the camera and out of the way. Can understand people going for the QStrap for the price though, the rs7 is expensive for what is but it down to you whether you think it's worth paying.

I nearly got the rs7 but an rs5 came up at a good price and have to say pleased I did as the extra storage on it is very handy.

Thank you all for your reply I treated myself and opted for the black rapid rd-7
