Hi all

Looking for a more comfy strap for my Nikon D90

I find the one that came with the camera terrible to use

like a bit rope round your neck :D

Get an Optech one. I have one which fits via cords to the strap hangers on the camera. Very comfy. About £20 but I think you will find it amongst the best £20 you spend on kit.

ye optech here to, i have the loops with the quick release catches so i can switch cameras or pop the camera on my rucksack without fiddling for 5 minutes :)

I assume this is still correct - taken from Optech order thread.

You must choose which of the two connectors suits you best : Pro Strap or Pro Loop Strap.

* For Canon Digital SLR's (and cameras with a flat strap connecting hold), the Pro Strap is sufficient.
* For Nikon Digital SLRs (and cameras with the smaller eyelet type hole), the Pro Loop strap is required.

Google, 'Bino Shoulder Harness'.
They fit over your shoulders like a backpack facing forwards.
Takes the weight from your neck, very comfy.
I bought a Vanguard from ScopesnSkies.

I've got an optech on my 350D and just ordered a second one for my new 40D. Can't fault it at all as it distributes the weight of the camera over the entire back of the neck.
