Apologies if its been mentioned before.

I attached some clips to the strap for ease of use.

Just be aware these sort of clips can and do unclip themselves, I've seen the little catch part bend open.

And also mark and chip the hell out of the area round the strap lugs. Wouldnt be me!

Also be careful regarding what weight those clips can hold. If you have a heavy lens attached you could be in trouble!

Those little snap hooks are far too weak for the use you are going to put them to. Comapre them to the clip used by Black Rapid for instance.

Your camera, but if you use them, they will let go. I promise.

No way would I trust those, they're extremely weak.
A weighty camera jigging about will soon break them.

Why would you need to keep taking your strap off the camera in any case?

I suppose there are others like me who hate straps and find they get in the way. I don't think there's been a neck strap attached to any of my cameras since I got them. At absolute most ill use a hand strap.

I have a blackrapid on mine, pricey for what they are but so much better than the standard neck strap.

I guess they're coming back off then :)

Have a look at the Op/Tech Connectors and straps. There's a wide variety of bits available for any strap configuration you could imagine. I've used them for years now and they are as tough as old boots. You can even get a back-up velcro loop (Secure-It) to provide a fail-safe for the connectors for added security although I doubt you would ever need it.

Have a look at full range on the US web-site (http://optechusa.com/). The google for a UK supplier. The official UK web-site is a bit pants.

Op/Tech for me too

I also use the op tech stuff. Handy clip to remove the bulk of the strap and the pro loop fasters can be removed from the camera really quickly too.

Recently purchased a carry speed fs slim strap and I'm loving it.

Regardless, I still have plans to add secondary support, just in case the worst happens (which I've already experienced :'()
