I have used the 3M type skins on my Cannon bodies for a while now, usually a plain black so its not noticeable once applied.They normally come pre cut to fit all the shapes of the camera body and fit perfect. When I have come to sell a body they peel off leaving no residue and you have a camera in Mint condition to sell, gaining you a litt more return for that next upgrade. The other positive is once on you cannot tell so they dont interfere with operating the camera or ergonomics like a silicon case would.

When I did a Fujifilm walk last year one of the guys had a skin on one of his cameras, and it looked pretty cool. I've looked at them myself in the past, just never pulled the trigger. I had one on my phone once, and as Rob says above you can't tell once they're on.
I think the Aliexpress ones are a lot cheaper if you wanted to try one without breaking the bank.
