Help... I'm on holiday and haven't used my camera for some time & whilst checking my settings I failed to notice my iso was set to iso 1250. It's been bright & sunny, didn't think iso was why shutter speeds were so high!

Still have time to take further pictures with correct iso, thankfully and most are landscape photos, but some family ones too. Some can't be retaken though.

How much of a problem is grain going to be, I only plan to process and not print, are these all going to be poor or can I have got away with this by any chance? Using nikon d7100 with prime lens.

Thanks for any thoughts & please be as positive ad possible I'm annoyed with myself at the moment. Thank you

If you have the exposure correct,ie dont have to bump it up in PP i think you will be ok at that.

Are you shooting in RAW or jpeg?
RAW will give you more scope in processing but a high ISO with a high shutter speed trying to compensate may not be too bad. :)

Thank you.

Yes shooting raw & I have taken various exposures so fingers crossed I've hit ok.

I'm a little rusty after not taking photos for a while

Thanks for your thoughts

I reckon the D7100 should give decent enough results at a mere (these days!) ISO1250, especially at screen sizes. Might be a little ropy at A3+ but should be fine at A4.

Thanks for your comments, hopefully I won't have to crop too much.
I've zoomed in and there is a fair bit of noise in the darker shots, but I won't really be able to tell until I return home.
Still kicking myself for missing this but glad I spotted now.
Really appreciate the reassurances
