Sorry if this has been asked before....can anyone recommend someone who services TLR cameras in or near South Wales? My MPP Microcord needs servicing but don't know who I can do it.
Thanks in advance.

I sent my camera to Black on White in Bristol, if that's any help. They have a good reputation. Mind you it's taking the age of a little pig.

Bristol is not too far from me so could take it there. I will look into them. Thanks @Plain Nev
What does that mean though....taking the age of a little pig???

That's not to say they are always like that. They must be quite busy, I imagine.

I have used Newton Ellis in Liverpool for my non-Pentax repairs and have found them to be good value and reasonably prompt. There may be pigs involved but I was willing to wait.

To date they have serviced my Agfa Isolette II and Yashica Minister 700 and done a fine job.

Unless there is a Mamiya TLR specialist in the UK I will see if NE can service mine at some point though it is hard to let them go :)

Yep...I am dreading sending mine away just in case something goes awry....insurance and special delivery I guess

I suspect it is probably the same everywhere....not a two minute job and I guess there are fewer places doing it as time goes on.

Just to let you know I received my Pentax MX from Black on White today. They have done a first rate job on it, and it looks and feels like a new camera. I'd say that if you are thinking of getting a camera serviced then you won't be disappointed.

+2

My Olympus OM4Ti stopped working and was completely dead. Took it to them and three weeks later I picked up a fully serviced and working camera. They did an excellent job and I wholeheartedly recommend them.
