Camera Repairs - Rubber Grip Canon 550D

Quick query I hope someone here will be able to answer. I need to do some repairs to my (now ageing) Canon 550D. The rubber grip is beginning to come away; will any standard rubber glue do the job or should I be looking for something in particular to stick it back in place?

Why dont you get a new one instead, alternatively try something like 3M double sided adhesive tape.
 
@twist Thanks for that, at first I thought you meant buy a new camera o_0

I didn't realise you could buy replacement grips separately. I'll look into it further (I've found some videos showing how to replace it on YouTube) but I think the grip itself is still fine, so will probably go down the double sided tape route.

Yeah after subsequent searching I found a fair few people with similar issues. My camera gets a lot of abuse though so I think it's just wear and tear in my case.
 
@Dave1 Nice. Can't argue with that price (it's probably cheaper than the tape). Think that's issue sorted.
