Why not use automatic updates from Adobe, saves having to remember.

ligthroom you can auto update, but with cs5 and ements 10 i had to go dowload and use the patch installer, and it didnt update the raw version so i had to go find the plugin and it had put them in program files, common files, adobe, plugins, instead of program files , adobe,plugins, then it worked fine. and deleted the others.

Real dopey question:-

Having updated/installed 3.6, do I need to keep all the unpacked installation files for earlier versions? I would like to free up some space on my HDD.

they should be gone the moght be an lr3 file there but with nothing in it.

Because when the only home internet you get is USB mobile internet with a 6gb cap its sometimes easy to forget, click on the popup and use your cap within hours

Not helped by having to download the full program each time with lightroom.
