Camera Price buster?

It's there as a guide and is probably updated at certain intervals.

but then i am also on the fixation website and i see it £35 cheaper straight away

Yes £615 BUT £707 inc VAT, so that makes it £60 quid more expensive.

I find camera price buster fairly up to date, not all shops are on there but the main photographic dealer are.

Typing too slow again

If you find an error with camerapricebuster (CPB) then you can contact them and point to where the error is. They're pretty quick to, thank you and fix the issue.

But keep in mind, CPB do not cover all sales outlets in UK.

All that aside, the site is pretty reliable as far as my experience has been.

CPB isn't always 100% reliable and it doesn't cover a fair few companies. Better to try Google in addition to CPB, I managed to get my 500D £44 cheaper than the best price on there from a UK retailer with a 2 year guarantee.

Daniel.

I can give a  for the service you'll receive from Stuart.

CPB is an excellent way you quickly look at prices for an idea of what to pay

The CPB site asks you to inform them if you see any prices cheaper than those listed, I contacted CPB a little while back about one of your lens prices which was the cheapest by far anywhere at the time and it was just ignored:shrug:

Thanks Mal,

I have been in talks with Camera Price Buster but becuase our website works in a certain way it cant be listed. We are making the changes to allow us to be listed.

Thanks for that offer, il think about it. Because at the moment i cant decide between a D90, D300s and D700.

The only thing wrong with the options you've mentioned is the inclusion of the D300s. That's a camera that wouldn't have been brought to market had the world not gone into a negative economic spiral. It's stupid by all account and means.

As for the D90 and D700; two very different beasts for different purposes. If you can afford either, think carefully about which would offer you the advantage. Sometimes the higher specifications aren't the better option

To be honest i am only thinking of the D300s because i have manual lenses that i would like to meter with and the D300s can do that. And from Ken Rockwell, he says it is a good camera. But then again he is wrong sometimes.

And i have the money for either, but if i was to get a D300s and then get some nice lenses or the D90 and some nice lenses, i could get much better glass if i buy a cheaper camera

If I was to make the choice between the D300s or the D90; I'd go with the D300s too I guess. I do get to use a D90 almost daily, but it bugs me that I don't have quick access buttons as on the D300 / D300s / D700. These switches and buttons make it a snap to change settings without having to take my eye off the viewfinder.

Does getting the D300s, over the D90, mean you'd have to sacrifice on getting good lens? Not necessarily so. Just get one good lens for now and wait until you're able to get others later.

D90 body £649 @ Jessops plus another 6%( £20+) off via topcashback. Also do a search for any discount codes.

Or D90 body only for £599.99, now beat that for a bargain!
