hi all
my camera not readiing cf cards ,camera shoots fine without card ?
tried formatting the card via computer as camera wouldnt
look to see if there was any broken or bent pins,
 
It's a long shot, but have you tried formatting the card in camera?

now there nothing on the card atall.where there was folders dcim etc gone too?

then it say
cannot format change card
 
Sounds like a duff card. If the camera can't see or format it now I don't think I would ever trust that card again in the future. Time for a new one.

got few cards tried them, just got 4gb and camera say same thing.

so got an old card stuck some pic's on,
but camera sayes same
put card in the card reader folder/pic s are there

did the roadkill, put in the camera starts up press button to take photo just comes up busy then nada
press menu nothing comes up,


put in card reader, computer sayes not formated do you want to format
done same with second card
so do i let the computer to format the card ,??

Think the camera reader isnt reading the cf cards

if so is that expensive repair ???
 
It may be a bit of a long shot, but take a careful look at the cf connector pins in the camera. It could be that one is bent out of alignment which would certainly cause the problem. A repair is best left to the experts.
 
cant see any thats bent or out of place,
think it gonna have to go off and get fixed ,



anyone recommend good repair place thats not expensive
