Afternoon all!

I'm after a new camera rucksack but am utterly confused by the vast choice on offer and was hoping one or two of you lovely folk my point me in the right direction.

My girlfriend just bought me an Orion Trekker but it's too small by far.

I'm a photo journo so need to take:

Body and spare
4 lenses (biggest 70-200)
17" laptop
Chargers
Spare batteries
HD Camcorder
And all the usual other guff

I've been looking at the TAMRAC EXPEDITION 8x BACKPACK

Has anyone owned one, or could recommend a sturdy alternative?

Thanks in advance folks! :)

I have an Expedition 7x, and it is a very spacious it holds my camera, with a 70-300mm attached, 2 other lenses, mains charger for laptop, car charger for laptop, scanner radio, all other bits and pieces (memory cards, batteries filters etc) and a 15" laptop, and takes it all with ease, and with space to spare.

I have the Tamrac Expedition 8. Takes all in my sig plus bits and bobs with room to spare for the 70-200 2.8 coming soon. Very comfortable for extended periods.

Have a look at www.cambags.com

Very comfortable for extended periods.

I forgot to mention that bit.

I also have a Lowepro Fastpack 350, but I prefer the 7x, only thing I'd change is the zips for the front two 'pod' pockets, if they had the fluid flowing action of the Lowepro, I'd be happier.

Thanks for your advice folks.

One Tamrac Expidition 8 is on its way right now:)

Thanks again

It's pretty water resistant from the go but I did by the extra cover which fits onto one of the side attachments for extreme wet days.

Got it on ebay from a place in canada for £14 delivered.
