Camera Jungle

New one on me. The only reason alarm bells ring is that there's a tyre one called tyrejungle or jungletyre or something.

Nope. Prices aren't that keen so for an unknown it is a risk compared to a known entity with better prices and an established name.

Sony A77 is £829 with them and £695 with harrison cameras in Sheffield who have been around a while and are decent.

Assuming they're just as poor with other brands they're not worth buying from. Nikon 3200 on their site is £70 more than the best from anywhere else!

I was looking at used stuff. Some fair prices.

Looking at D7000 prices, they are asking £130.00 more for a second hand one, than what DR sell for new. And about £70.00 more compared to MPB.

To me they seem expensive for a new venture starting off when you have established companies mentioned above to compete with.

They are part of the same group who own golfbidder, who have a good reputation, so i would think camera jungle is legit (apparently it's headed up by a former Nikon UK exec).

They are based very close to where I work, so I might pop around to see f they have a showroom and see what the used kit looks like.

I've done what checking I can and don't see anything to suggest they are dodgy, but if you happen to be passing...
