I've tried to use the search option but I keep getting page cannot be displayed?????

After buying a quite expensive camera today, my household insurer informs me that I am no longer covered.

I would like cover for £12,000 for the contents of my camera bag including whilst out and about. I would also like public liability.

I am aware of Photoguard and Cliik but your experiences would be most welcome.

I'm with CLIIK and am happy with the flexibility and extras that the cover offers -I haven't had to make a claim but I am as confident in them as I would be in anyone.
My cover is the same amount as you are looking for and the premium knocked spots off the competition.
 
I'm with photoguard and had to make a claim last year for a damaged lens. They were very clear in what I needed to do and what I needed to send them and they paid out very quickly, direct to the repair centre.

I'm also looking at Insurence. Interested as to how much per year it is for £12000? (I wouldnt need that much though) I also would like public liability up to £5million so I can go track side when the time arrives.
 
I'm with Photoguard and have around £10,000 cover for in transit, away from vehicle and no excess to pay and that's just over £300 paid by monthly direct debit. I could probably find it a bit cheaper but that tends to put excess amounts up. One firm I used to be with wanted a minimum of £250 or 8% whichever was greater. On £10,000 that's an £800 excess or write off a couple of lenses and I think that's over the top.

I was on photoguards website the other day as my renewal is due at the end of the month. I think I read that all new policies have a £50 excess on a minimum claim of £150. You also have the option to voluntarily extend your excess to £250 for a reduction in the premium.
 
Have a look at aaduki. I'm with them. Not had to claim, but they offer different packages.
