Camera Insurance

Hi need a bit of help. I have just purchased a new canon 60d from harrisons cameras via mail order trouble is i got my freind to buy it on his credit card which needed to be delivered to his address (not a problem) I have received the camera and chuffed with it. problem is i want to get it insured but the receipt is in my friends name and address does anyone know anywhere i can get it insured under these circumstances thanks Martin.

You will need to pay your friend for the camera as he used his crefit card. Simply get him to write you a receipt for the payment, stating it's for the camera ( Quote serial No.) .

Check that you are not covered on your house insurance already. may need to get it added to all risks , but your insurance company will advise you on that.
