Camera help.

Hi all im quite new on this great furom but i wanted to ask your expert advice, i work in a job taking pictures of ladies and have only been doing it for around a year, i currently use a finepix s7000 camera and im thinking about up grading to the nikon d3000. What i was wondering is has anyone got any feedback on the nikon d3000 and do you think it would be a wise choice for quite a newby?

I don't think anyone can say if it's the right camera for you unless they know exactly what you'd be using it for.

Lol Rob, i basically just take pictures for a model agency but the setup i have to work with is not great, the camera im useing atm is a little slow and my lighting is terrible. The lights im using atm are just high powered builders lights and this is also something i need to sort out. As i said im not a expert and im trying my best to get a proper setup. If theys any experts on here who can give me some guidance on where to purchase proper lights then please feel free to contact me.
