Yes
I know there's a way to allow photographs to load on the computer as the shots are taken, but i'm clueless as to how to go about this.

Would prefer to do it without cables, but knowledge of how to do it both ways would be great.

Help!

Holy crap. That's well expensive :p

Using Canon 30D.

You can use live shooting with many Canon cameras The D30 should support this. The software comes with every camera. Don't confuse live shoot with live view.

Rather than go through the set up instructions ( not difficult) you'll find it all on the CD that comes with the camera.

As far as i can remember the 30D cannot do wireless. Get a long usb2 cable, and install the drivers for your camera. You will need software to handle the files, you can use the one that comes your camera, or if you want to invest some money maybe get DSLR remote pro (windows only) or C1 Pro (mac and PC).

I usually use c1 pro, which can apply a specific colour toning, and crop as you shoot, which can be very useful if you have an art director sitting there looking at each shot.
