Camera Choice!!

Hi, I am looking to buy a digital SLR type camera for my 10 year old son to grow into. I would like to get one with LI battery technology if possible, though i think may be lucky on a budget of around £120? Can anyone please give me some direction? Thank you.

Sony A100 is well spec'd and cheap these days. Closer to £150 though.

MPb have also got a nice looking Nikon D50 body for £99 - a great wee camera for the money

My first DSLR, still have it and still get fantastic shots with it. My daughter was using it, until recently when we bought her her own DSLR
