Quick question, my physio has told me to get rid of my camera bag as it's making my hip worse (even if I have the straps on both shoulders).

This means I need a wheelie type case. Not too big as I don't have that much gear

What do people recommend?

Peli 1510's are good (plus you can sit on them). Otherwise Thinktank Roller Bags.

Neither are cheap though.

The Peli 1510 is too big and not what I was after. No point being able to sit on it either as it's too low for me

The thinktank ones look huge as well. Even the airport series.

As I said, I have not got much gear so don't need a big one

Actually the Airport Airstream looks okay, just got to find one in the UK now

Hmmmm, little bit pricey at £255 at Jacobs

Anyone got any other suggestions?

Sorry Gary, posted at the same time, thanks, I'll have a google

shame peli case wheels are so small and hard..cant use over rough ground really...

That's another very good point. Especially at the level of rugby and football I do, I won't be wheeling it round a nice smooth picthside track. Normally across public playing fields

cobbled street up north :)

Right the Kata site keeps crashing on me so I've had enough and I must get back to work :D

Not quite sure about the separate trolley thing on it either. Think I'd rather an all-in-one

I would give another vote for the Peli, I sue one and its great

Not sure if they do one "smaller" though

It is an all in one but you can remove the trolley part and use it with any other compatible bag

Thanks for the recommendation but I'm not too keen on these ones

Cheers Gary, when I can get the site working properly, I'll have a look.

I had a quick look around and lasted 20 seconds before it all annoyed me!

Kid's Trunkis come to mind, get some foam cut in the right shape for your gear and you're away!

I have very little patience today, battling with Business Objects (our reporting tool at work) and getting very fed up with it at the moment so yes, it was a bit of a annoyance once I got the 4th we are closing the page you are trying to view message

 just had a google of those. Not really sure that I want to be going to rugby and football matches with one of those. Thanks anyway

Kelly, I got a suitcase wheeled thingy in House of Fraser for my camera bag(s) which cost about £12. Unfortunately it gave out on our last trip, but was useful for quite a while. You just strap your existing bag onto it with the bungee straps

Blimey, that's expensive for basically a case trolley!
Kelly, get an old pram and make a trolley out of that!

LowePro Pro Roller? huge wheels so nothing stops it from being pulled along

As daft as it sounds, I would get one of those modern style shopping bags on wheels, and put current bags in it. They have bigger wheels and are cheap! I mean THIS kind of thing, the modern styles seem to be quite acceptable as a fashion accessory these days.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions - not sure about the pram though Carol, you've been to Vigo

I'd like to get a proper camera bag/case really, rather than a hybrid or homemade type thing. The Kata's do look good, as does the Lowepro Roller (my favourite so far), and I've found some UK Stockists for the Airport Airstream (our google defaults to US links first sop I had forgotten to say pages from UK)

Thanks again everyone :D
