Camera bag

Where do you buy your camera bags?

Thanks

Before you decide where to buy one from you might want to decide on what type, size, colour etc you want.

Once decided as above, buy from forum, eBay, gumtree etc

Bit of a vague question!

I've personally purchased all mine through Amazon (2x Lowepro, 2x ThinkTank).

Plenty of choice out there, main thing is identifying its purpose...

You can buy a camera bag from various places...

Any camera shops, any websites, London Camera Exchange, Jessops, Amazon, eBay, Gumtree, Argos, Park Cameras, Calumet Photographic and Rental, Currys, CameraWorld.com, classified pages of Amateur Photography, and on and on and on, well....

That's what Google is there for.

I have to agree with Turbo-G, it is a bit of a vague question, you may as well ask "Where do you buy your milk from?"

If it is any typical camera bag you seek, then you can find one anywhere, Google would show "plenty of choices" as Turbo-G said.

But if it is a specific camera bag (say one designed more suited for hill walking, rock climbing, or you're seeking a waterproof bag, or you're after a Billingham brand camera bag), then you can ask, but Google would still show results anyway.

Whatever camera bag you are looking for, hope you get your dream bag, there are so much shops and online stores around.

i got mine from currys in the sale i had been looking at similar on the bay then the one i got was a manfrotto it was online £45-£55 and i got it in the sale for £18

Agree a bit more info would be useful, eg the kit you want to carry and where.

My normal bag is from 7dayshop and holds DSLR+kit lens, a 50mm lens, 55-300 zoom, blower, cloth a few filters and has just enough room to squeeze in a small flask. If I'm going into the hills then the kit is the same but it is in a normal walking rucksack.

Amazon, a very large backpack now used mainly for storage. A Crumpler Cupcake done as a swop on here, Lowepro Nova 3 from closing down photo shop in Limerick. Plus a multitude of old wrecks!

What are you looking for. I have a couple going into classifieds in the next day or two.

Both Tarmac Expedition backpacks. I think one is the 4x or 5x and the other is the 7x

Brilliant bags! I've had my 7x about 3-4 years and it's still like new!

Wifey bought me an Evecase bag for christmas (and completely unexpectedly and with no prior steering from me) - it's not a brand I had heard off, but it is a rather nice bag in a sort of 'vintage' finish and is an ideal size for body/lens, second lens and a few accessories. Best of all it doesn't really look like a camera bag and is not a camera name so meets the point @BrynBoru makes above.

I was at Wex last week and they had plenty of bags from Tamrac, Lowepro and Manfrotto to try out, spent quite a while looking into them all. Best to try a few on before deciding.
