Cos you never know when you'll need a sharpie! ;) Yeah, bit naff. Got it when I got my D40. Hardly use it now though. Loved it when I got it though

Well I paid like £10 for it, reckon I will enjoy it though and I will not use it enough to warrant actually buying a wide angle! It's the same as the reversing ring, I will never do enough Macro to warrant buying a Macro lens!

I think I paid about that for mine a few years ago now. I got it for the "fish eye" effect but it's not really got that compared to a real fish eye lens. Don't think I've used it in a good while though. Will probably get it out again when I go on holiday in a week or so. I'm tempted to get a wide angle lens if I'm honest. Using it again will probably spur me on to doing something about it lol

I'm just after the extra width on shots, I know I'm going to have to deal with a little distortion and CA, but I have Photoshop!

You got any example shots from it? I'd love to see them!

Several bags, most used is a LowePro MiniTrekker, which carries a D700 with Sigma 24-70 attached, an 8mm Sigma fisheye, a Sigma 12-24, a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8, a Nikkor 70-300VR and a Nikkor 105mm VR Macro. 3 spare batteries, several CF cards in cases, wired and wireless releases, a few filters, charger and leads - all I need for a fortnight away!

Next up would probably be a TopLoader LowePro, a holster/cone type thing. This holds the D700 with any of the above lenses fitted or, more usually, my wide angle pairing, D700 with either the 8mm or 12-24 fitted and the other lens sitting in the pointy end!

I also have another LowePro, this time a shoulder bag. Not sure which model it is but Nova4 seems to ring a bell. That's on long term loan to a friend at the moment, along with a D70, Cosina 19-35 zoom, Tamron 90mm Macro, 2 or 3 spare batteries, charger and lead(s), manual, cards - basically a decent starter kit. The Nikkor 180mm f/2.8 doesn't fit in the bag though, so is in a LowePro case of its own.

The only other bag is really just a slightly oversized case for my Fuji HS30. It holds the camera, filters, spare cards and battery, cable release and a few other odds and sods. It's Fuji's own brand but has very LowePro looking zips etc.

I also have a Red Snapper bag - a Snapper Duo, which will be used on holiday, mainly as carry on baggage, with the Fuji and a couple of compacts in it for travel, leaving space for a change of solomons and a shirt, just in case the hold baggage goes astray!

Used to have a LowePro Slingshot 200 but found it uncomfortable and impractical so was glad to see it go, bundled with my D200 when that went to help finance the D700. There was also a smaller LowePro Nova which went (IIRC) to Yv several years ago once my kit had outgrown it and long before her kit outgrew mine!

I have an X100 and a spare battery in a fitted fake leather case. That is all I carry and all I need.
