I currently just use a ordinary backpack for my gear at moment, but im looking for a photography bag that unzips from the inside, so you have to take bag off to acess main contents, i dont like the idea anyone can unzip and take stuff out whilst walking around london, especially when your crammed on the underground... is there any bags like this, and waterproof would be nice....

thanks

I have a lowepro mini trekker i believe its called and it looks just like a normal backpack. the bottom half is a camera bag with all the deviders and stuff (the zip is hidden as well) and the top half is just a normal backpack so good for other bits and bobs u may need.

its well build i use mine on my motorcycle and have had no worries about it falling to bits and its also decent priced about 30 quid or so

cheers

Ive been looking into camera bags but havnt found one that zips from the inside. I know what you mean when your worried about theft from the bag as i had my work bag done on the underground. Now i take the rucsac off and carry it by the handle.

Dont know on the amount of gear you carry but have a look at this tamrac velocity, as the camera exits from the top. http://www.tamrac.com/frame_adv.htm

Im intrested in the adventure 7 http://www.tamrac.com/frame_adv.htm as it also has seperate space for personal items.

Good luck finding one, let me know which one you go for please.

I have a Rover AW II - It's a faily hefty piece of kit, holds a lot in the camera part but isn't that spacious in the top part, but still usefull. Comfortable to wear with all the straps (inc waist done up)
