Hi there,
Does anyone have any suggestions for a camera bag please ?, preferably a shoulder type bag suitable for carrying two SLRs, one with an 18-200 lens & the other with a 70-30 lens. There doesn't need to be room for much else, a couple of lens hoods perhaps & a few pockets for manuals, memory cards, cloth etc.

Thanks, Martin. :)

Thanks Mastertrinity, I'll have a look at them.

Martin,

What's your budget?

I really like the Kata R-103 if it fits within your price range.

The bags looks nice, loads and loads of protection, lots of useful nooks and crannies, very functional and well thought out, not forgetting it's comfortable on too

Thanks for the advice. I quite like the look of the Crumpler Delhi 770.

Redsnapper Duo is cracking especially at the price, nice big pockets etc...

That bag is t3h sex! I'm tempted but I already have a fastpack.

Shoulder bag? Billingham or Domke... end of story.
Not cheap, not flash, but definitely top quality. Either will last for decades.

I've been looking myself Martin.
The "Lowepro stealth reporter" series looks really good, maybe the 500?

Regards Spence

Check out Billingham in a shop as someone suggested. Doesn't look like a camera bag and will last 25 years gradually weathering and aging along with it's owner. I've had mine 15 yrs and still perfect. No noisy velcro and ludicrous over padding lik Crumpler. John

It's always worth having a look at LINK
Obviously not as good as actually getting your hand on one in a shop, but it will give you a reasonable idea of what's out there.

Not that many shops actually stock a decent selection anyway!

Thanks for all the advise everyone. I should be up in Brixham next week so I will probably pop into Mifsuds & have a bit of a rummage around with the bags.

The Lowepro Stealth Reporter 550 will do the trick for you with a bit of room for other bits like flash, filters etc

I've just bought a tamrac pro12 as my kit had outgrown my old bag and i've got 2 gripped slr's with a 24-70 and a 50mm attached, a 70-200, hoods, speedlight, remotes, batteries, cards, still got space for a couple more lenses and other bits and bobs, it's like a tardis, not that big to look at but loads of room and well thought out on the inside.
