Yes
I know you can get wheeled camera bags, but I'm wondering if it's possible to get a trolly to attach pretty much any bag too. It would be handy to get something to bung a few bags on from time to time, I've done a google and ebay but just get either normal shopping trolly or camera bag trolly type things. Anybody know of any?
Thanks Wayne

What about a golf bag trolley? They will carry just about anything, but get the wide wheeled version.

Hi Wayne, If you take a trip to a local luggage outlet you'll almost certainly find they have folding/collapsable trolleys for luggage etc. These can be just the job for transporting heavy camera bags etc.

Hope this helps.,

George.

As a lighting photographer based in London, I needed a serious trolley for carrying my kit. I usually try to drive to most big shoots, but every so often, there's the need to trek from A to B either on the underground or just from wherever I manage to park the car to wherever I'm working. Wheeled cases are all very well (I use Kata Palms for my lighting gear and Think Tank for my camera bags) but the crappy little wheels are just too damned small to smooth out bumps, kerbs and steps.

So I was on the lookout for a seriously chunky trolley, capable of having all manner of Peli cases, C-stands and whatnot bungeed onto it. Most luggage trolleys are built down to a size, price and weight and just aren't up to being bounced along the street with 30kgs of crap on them.

Then I found this:

Built like a brick outhouse, with big, pneumatic tyres. Designed for trucking crates of beer across festival fields and equally suited to use by an overloaded photographer. I've had it nearly two years and it's still going strong, despite some serious abuse. Loads of people ask me where I got it. Best forty quid I've spent in a while.

i saw some wheeled hard plastic cases at thruxton, looked like you could stand on them to get abit higher, but they all looked like they had low ground clearence :(

fishing box trolley could serve a purpose Wayne.

I've been abusing a Preston Innovations universal Off Box fishing trolley for a couple of years they can be found cheaper than this one

It is useful for flight case style carrying cases.

I killed innumerable folding stack barrows - don't buy the cheap ones the weak link is the rotating plastic bit that holds the wheels they don't like curbs or steps at all not even with a lot less than 60Kg.

I really like the look of that Heavy Duty Festival Trolley and will probably invest in one, thank you for posting the link Charlotte.

Many thanks for all the replies. I'll go through all the suggestions and see what looks best.
Funnily enough I nearly bought a golf trolly, it was with a set of clubs and the bag for a tenner, but I offered it to a mate who is into golf, he never bothered and it was gone when I went back. Bummer!

Thanks again.

What's appropriate for you depends on the max weight kit you may need on any outing .... 35mm or Medium format outing likely to differ from a 10x8 outing

I bought a fishing trolley. Similar to the festival trolley. Can't find a link now, but huge selection on eBay.

Stealth Gear (Holland) do a folding aluminium/canvas trolley called the 'Transport Trolley M2' - I haven't seen one in the flesh but they say it'll carry up to 176lbs (and the wheels look like they could handle a decent amount). It also extends. LINK.

Pics of it extended/not extended - LINK.

£129 inc delivery from Fotosense - LINK.

There appears to be an 'FG' model as well - it's cheaper but I don't know what the difference is (Stealth Gear didn't answer when I emailed them) - LINK.
