Kata R-103, which will also hold a laptop.

Superbly designed with brilliant build quality..

The professional wildlife photographer Andy Rouse recommended them on a different forum and I've never looked back

EDIT: it is considerably more than your £50 budget, but well worth the extra IMHO, if you are able to budget for more

I have just brought the Crumpler Muffin top 7500, I got for the same reason
to carry my gear on airlines. I also found it excellent for walking around with.
hth:wave:

I normally take my Lowepro Trekker on the plane, easily holds a D300, 70-200/2.8, 17-55/2.8, charger, spare battery, SB-800 and spare AA's. Easily fits into the overhead luggage space and no questions or issues at the desk.

well since you brought it up - I happen to have a Kata R-103 for sale :)

i love that bag mate but just on a budget at the moment as i go away on holiday soon :(

I just bought a Centon Trekkor BP500.
They are £33 in Jessops at the moment.

Very cheap and it's got space for Loads of equipment.
I have a Canon 400d, 18-55mm, 50mm, 28-300mm, 430EXII
And that doesn't even take up 1/4 of the space in there

I've just bought a Kata DR-465 to take as hand luggage when I fly to New York in April. It fits my 350D, Sigma 10-20mm, 18-55 kit lens, battery charger, batteries x4, leads, manuals etc etc in the main bit, and I can fit a Sigma 70-200 f2.8 in the top compartment.

Cost me £30 from ebay brand new, the guy I bought it from has a few on there, buy it now £38 or best offer.
