Hello all,

Just thought to ask if anyone here would have ideas or suggestions.
As the summer is slowly coming, we might all be tempted to go around a little more to get our pictures. And some of dig out the bicycles (I live in Finland, so we get some snow) from the shed.
So, taking your camera and lenses with you on your bike. I know the easy solution is to carry it in your back, but that's quite heavy for longer journeys.

Are there any decent camera bags that can be attached to bicycles, and have any of you tried them.. all suggestions welcome.

I use my Crumpler Geekstar on my bike as it is a satchel type beast with the third leg which is nice and keeps it stuck there. The strap is nice and thick so the thing doesn't get too heavy and I carry a 400D with four lenses and a flashgun in it. Regularly ride 5 miles with it on without issues.

Not the cheapest, but rock solid:
Topeak range:
01457

and
01967

Bag is big enough for additional padding inside, DSLR, 70-200, + 2 smaller lenses, + panier bags for the rest of your stuff + top compartment for bike tools & spares.
I've done miles of traveling like this. Stop & it just clips off & has shoulder strap.
No stress on back & shoulders.
