i have decided to go back to the panasonic HC-X1500 and got one on hold with a company waiting for a P/x Quote tomorrow. So why go back you may well ask? The panasonic HC- VXF1 did not reach my expectations by a long way and my fault I should have given it more thought before buying
So what are the issues
1= and the major one was frame rate I had not know or realised the problem, that is stuttering while panning (4k monitor v camcorder incompatible)
2= 0nly a single SD card slot
3= Flobby cold shoe cover can be heard while recording
4= Lack of image stablisation choice
5= no battery charger included
6= no remote port for LAN REMOTE
good things to balance the equation is the video quality is great
So why did I get rid of the 1500 in the first place? er indoors has been pestering me for weeks if not months to get rid of my camera gear ie, Nikon cameras/lens etc. In the end it wore me down, so I wanted the Panasonic G9ii as well, so to cover the cost I got rid of the 1500, a huge mistake.
At the moment here is a winter offer on for the Panasonic HC-X1500 reduced by £450 so decided now is the time to get a new one while at this price. maybe I am a bit mad doing it, but I do miss not having a camcorder that fits my requirements. Having been making videos for home use (and some on youtube) Having a decent camcorder seems right in my photogfaphic equipment lineup.
This time"er indoors" realises how much I miss having the 1500 she surprisingly raised no objections , so before she changes her mind
any comment welcomed including about me being how stupidi have been
