I recently posted a thread about Crooked Imaging, and their poor service. I think I should also put on record that I received great service from Calumet. I bought a Powerblock battery unit for my 580EX flashguns at Focus earlier this year, and hadn't used it a great deal until last week.
It's supposed to deliver around 500 flashes on a full charge, but found I was getting around 100 before the unit just switched off. It has a countdown meter from 4 to 1 - but didn't move from 4.
I emailed Calumet, informed them of my problem, and they replied within the hour, asking me to provide my receipt number, and an address for them to arrange a courier to deliver a new one, and collect the old one.
I returned the email with the relevant information, and within another hour I received confirmation that the faulty unit would be collected the following day, at the same time a new unit would be delivered.
The next day as promised, Fedex arrived with a new unit, and collected the faulty unit, and although I've not tested the new unit to it's capacity yet, it appears to be functioning normally.
So it's a thumbs up for Calumet, and their prompt service, sending a new unit immediately, no quibble, and without fuss. Resolved in 24 hours from start to finish, and I didn't even have to step outside the door.
