I just assumed there wasn't one with the A700 because of the dual card slots. :shrug:

I bought a 4gb pro duo specially. I find it very handy to be able to switch cards without actually having to remove one from the camera. It's also good for keeping things separate, making it easier at the uploading stage.
 
Now absolutely thoroughly cheesed off!! Just phoned Warehouse Express to confirm that I was to receive delivery of the Sigma 18-50 f2.8 today (as I hadn't had the despatch email) only to be told that they didn't have the stock after all! I'm going away on Friday and was hoping to have the lens before then, no chance now! What is the problem that Sigma seem to have with f2.8 zooms for Sony cameras? :bang::bang::bang:

Hi Rob

Very kind of you mate, but I'm not too desperate at the moment, just would have been nice to have a play with it whilst away. I'll wait until stocks are back up (whenever that may be) and for now, cheer myself up by treating myself to the 2x teleconverter! :naughty:

Got my memory card today :woot: so now just waiting to finish work before I start taking some snaps and try to figure out how to use the camera

Almost! Im trying to think what I can take a picture of so I can post it on here... First thoughts were of my car but its raining so scrap that... I guess once I have the camera in my hands inspiration will just jump out at me :lol:

I was looking at the body and the paint on it almost looked like a orange peel surface is how it is meant to be?

Don't know about the A350, but the A100 & A700 bodies have a matt finish, but they're pretty smooth so I'm not sure about orange peel. :thinking:

Or were you talking about your car? :lol:

You may find that people are unwilling to trade with you just yet. There is a For Sale forum on here, but you need to have made a certain amount of posts (I think 100) before you can use it. You may find that your post on here could be removed by the mods for that reason.

Yea, the best cheapest option is the Minolta 50mm AF f/1.7 which can be had on ebay for about £70 but on a dSLR will equate to 75mm.
For a brand new sony one you're looking at I think just under a couple of hundred

I have got enough lenses now to last a lifetime including four (yes four) that were bought as "alternatives" to the kit lens!!
