This may sound rather petty but I find it really annoying when working in manual that you have set your exposure correctly, working at 17mm at f/2.8 and at some point change the focal length and then have to change you exposure settings again cos it won't stay at f/2.8..... Call it lazy, call it what you want, it just bugs me cos I don't have to think about it when using my 70-200 until I want to change the way I am working. Does that make sense, lol

Good on you for shooting in manual but I have never understood why people make life difficult for themselves.. I use aperture priority 99.9% of the time and change ISO according to circumstances.

Just picked it up.. seems a bit smaller than I imagined.. or maybe I just have big lenses!!!

how much could you fit in there?

i would love one just to hold my sony a300 50mm and possibly a flashgun from time to time, would be good for street photography or if im a guest at a wedding and then i dont have to carry my awkward micro trekker around.

I should of pointed out, the beercan will not go in attached to the camera!!

I think I must have got the wrong thing as the A350 barely fits with a lens on :shrug:

yeah, seems bigger? I reckon my local store gave me the wrong thing, even though the catalogue number is correct on the bag!

Could just be the lighting but your bag doesn't even seem to be made out of the same material, does seem to be a different bag.

Prob because I used compact with flash

I don't think its the same - I found a tag inside that says "LCS-BDF" which seems to imply its this...http://www.sony-asia.com/product/lc... to your A700?[/QUOTE] No I dont have it on.

I'm in the market for a decent (biggish) bag atm. Been suggested a Lowepro D100 and a Fastpack 200. The D100 looks great to be honest, but a little steep at 35 quid!

looks very like the 42 to me? cold be wrong though :)

Ive baged myself on of those sony bags, be idea for trips away when i really cant bring the proper camera bag with me( or half my kit either, no make that a tenth of my kit!)

saw it 2 days ago while flash hunting on google, realised it was the 42 from the sony site and got the last one in the nottingham area!

cant fault it :)

also a very tough flash as it seemed to get thrown down the chute and slam into the stop at the end much to the dismay of the manager who was serving me and saw me watching it in flight (accepted with a note on the receipt saying it had become stuck and fell down the chute in case it packs up via violent shattering of the lamp))

well i've purchased my sony case the only downside is...how do the dividers go?

luke, the divider is "T" shaped yeah? well, the longest section goes on the bottom, which gives you a rigid[ish]base, and the short section has velcro tabs, which fasten to the bag sides.

got mine this morning also, and pretty pleased with it for the money...just gotta try and see if the camera fits now

they cost what they cost.
super cheap, normal quality manual flash with adaptor for sony - Yongnuo yn460 = about 35quid
normal dedicated flash sony f42am - around 170 or what was the price here in one link.
I have the daddy 5600hsd for 140 :naughty:

it all depends on what do you want to do with it.

just want something better than the pop up really! im only an amateur so no real requirements to be met. were can i find info on the 35quid one!!

but - what do you need it for ? google yongnuo flashes - and you'll get all the info. what do you need it for ?

Maybe i dont need it cos i cant answer that! Maybe i think i need it!! What do you need yours for?

Had both the 50mm f1.4 and 135mm f2.8 with me at wedding last night, both performed well and the 135mm I love, it's super small! Il try get some pics posted up tomorrow.

I see the ones that sold are £39.99

Possible advertising ploy? Made us look

i think its a fault with the software they use to relist the items after the end as i see it quite often and think WTF ?
