Hi
Can't seem to get my head round this calibration stuff
I have an Eizo cx240 with Colour Navigator software and a XRite i1 Display Pro.
Ok so I followed via the manual (ie NOT installing the Xrite software), installed Col. Nav, connected the Pro and calibrated via the CAL7 mode. Everything (seemed) to go ok,,,,,saved profile etc. Now then when I view my photos via LR or CS6 the skin tones are perfect but when I look at the same photo via Flickr it seems too red. When I look at other peoples photos via the web those ones seem ok. Should I be switching to sRGB on my monitor? or should I view everything through the CAL7 mode on my monitor? How do I know how this would print?
Thanks
John

That's the thing though Neil, it was a previously exported photo (as sRGB). In LR and CS on my calibrated monitor the skin tones are good, yet in Flickr the same photo has way too red tones.

Why would the same photo look different on the same monitor?

colour management, or lack of it. What browser and OS are you using? There is probably an easy way to switch it on

go to my website and follow a couple of links on the bottom about the topic

Thanks for the link Daugirdas, will have a look.
@Neil that's strange I was sure that was exported as sRGB. So in LR and CS it's viewing correctly at Adobe RGB? Windows 7 64 bit and IE.

Chrome is fine here too (it got colour managed a few months back - at least ICCv2 I think).
