Hi All

I need to Calibrate my screen as i feel my prints are not looking like what i've seen on screen.

Can anyone suggest the best software/hardware to calibrate the screen, i've also heard you can adjust the settings on your pc screen?

any help will be great, thanks

Different people prefer the different solutions however, thre are 2 threads at the moment where members are loaning out their calibration kit for others to try.

You could tag on there if you are prepared to wait.

i actually need to buy one today for printing pictures

any ideas for best places?

Do a search on google for reviews of the products. Decide which you want and google
"buy XXXXXXXXX" where x = name of product you want.

Should find the cheapest place that way or 2nd hand off ebay perhaps.

There are a number of units on the market. However as you may be unsure as to exactly what you want, can I suggest you contact Colour Confidence. They are an independent company that specialises in colour management . Their prices are competitive and will give you the advice you need.

I purchased my Eye -1 from them, but look at the Spyder and the Huey Pro as well as the Color Munki

I had probs with colour not looking correct also. I got apantone huey & the calibration
of my screen was amazing.all colour prining is now as on screen .I am now looking to improve even further by trying different papers. hope thi helps.

I use the pantone huey, also keep the lighting the same in your room with daylight bulbs if you can.

Colour confidence are a good outfit and will offer you lots of help.

I also use loxley printers on the net and my prints always match up to the screen.
