Well as we have all probably heard now, the PM is in the mire for calling "them" a "swarm"
I've seen bee's and wasps attack a predator many times, and that's exactly what they do when they attack.
Granted they are not trying to get on lorries, or through the Chunnel, but I can certainly see why he used that terminology.
