Hi all,
Does anyone know of a free or cheap CAD program for designing bathrooms? I've tried some of the ones that bathroom shops offer but they are pretty basic. All I need it for is like a "top down" line drawing showing the layout of the equipment in the room- then I need to be able to import into a Word doc.
Thanks

I've recently used http://www.sweethome3d.com/ for planning some changes to bedrooms. It's free, so worth a go to see if it fits your requirements. I use in on Ubuntu (linux), but it looks like it's got versions for Windows and iOS.

I'm going to have a look at that as I am om Ubuntu as well.

A good free CAD programme for Windows is ProgeCAD. It is a very good AutoCAD Clone.

Steve,

Don't know if things have changed, but can't see a free version.

You're right. It used to be free for personal use only (at least a couple of years ago). Now it appears to be just a thirty day free trial.

Have you looked at bathroom centre online designer?

I'm in the same loop. Wickes have a good service (not so good product)
