With great views down to Tal-y-llyn Lake, CAD east is a fantastic spot for photographing the landscape. Just a bit of a shame about all the plane photographers with their bright green tents and red waterproofs........;)

Thank God for digital.

Incidentally this was Monday morning about 11 am. Anyone recognise themselves before they get "cloned"?

Spent some time up there staring at that view, with the occasional interruption by the RAF or USAF.

Plane photographers...Is that area used for low level flying? Looks lovely.

I used to work at a water sports centre in the Highlands and I had a guy who was in the RAF on a weeks windsurfing course. He gave me the biggest tip ever afterwards, he told me to be at the loch at a certain time and day, so I did. All of a sudden I hear this loud roar and two jets came screaming over the loch, did a half loop and came back over for a fly-by. Will never forget that, if only I was into photography back then:bang:

I wouldn't clone them for me they add a real sense of scale to the scene and are not big enough in the frame to be a distraction or focus.

Not been for a few years sadly, hoping to return soon though. Agree about leaving them in, maybe you can just change the colour? Although I've seen many worse colours than red on my visits down there haha
