Cool, I wonder if people will buy them in a frenzy.
I may get a set as my V2's are a little large.

Does anyone have a street address of them? Ill be there on March 25th, might see if I can just pick some up. Ill pop them an email too.

Hmmm, the v4 and the v2s are both in the 433Mhz range - I wonder if the v4 can trigger the v2

Anyone wanting to sell a V2s reciever give me a shout :)

I think I shall wait for a few review by people on here first. Plus I have just splashed out on a grip for my samsung so can't justify these just yet.

anyone know if v4's will work with v2's atm i have 2 v2 pairs and if i get any more lights i will probs get v4 if they work together

Whats happened to the Cactus V4 triggers on Gadget Infinitey. I ordered mine from the Flash Triggers link http://www.gadgetinfinity.com/home.php?cat=274 but now they are gone?

Could be sold out - they accepted orders from last Friday before dispatch on Monday but I only got my dispatch email on Wednesday so they're running a little behind. Might mean they've been swamped by orders?

Looking forward to getting mine and will post a review as soon as I have a chance to play with them!

EDIT: Just seen this note on their website:

Shipment delay for one day. OUR APOLOGY!

Owing to unexpected number of orders for Cactus V4, our shipping system has broken down in the morning. It is under repair at the moment and should be back to normal very soon. Your order will experience a one-day delay and will be shipped tomorrow. Please accept our sincerely apology for any inconvenience caused.

I'll be ordering from the next batch I think. What's the price of the V4 sets? Obviously the site doesn't show them now that the first batch is all gone.

Just read a post on the Flickr Strobist discussion that there may be a sync problem between the V4 and SB600 flash... Anyone here actually got their V4s and have found this? I'm in two minds whether to go Cuctus V4 or CTR-301 now :bang:

No problems with my SB600 and my V4s so far and tested 250 shots earlier today at around 15ft away and got no misfires

man I just want to order a set but its out of stock all the time? :(

i read somewhere, i think it was on the strobist group, that they said they will be getting more stock at the end of the week.

i'm sticking with my modded v2s system for the moment, so if anyone has any receivers they want to sell please get in touch

Cactus Wireless Flash Trigger V4 now in limited stock

Owing to the unexpectedly high demand of the new Cactus Wireless Flash Trigger V4, only 100 units of trigger set and 100 units of receiver will be sold on our website every weekday and 200 units each every weekend. We will try our best to bring in more stock in the days to come. Thanks again for your support to Cactus

In stock now!

My V4 triggers arrived a couple of days ago so I'm putting them through their paces now. First impressions are good - everything's very neat and compact, they fit into the hotshoes and feel reasonably solid. The battery cover on the receiver is a little loose and I'm worried it'll drop off somewhere but a little electrical tape will keep that on nicely.

So far so good, I've not been able to get too far away but within the space restrictions of my flat they seem to be working fine, even with the transmitter aerial folded down.

Still need to do a proper sync speed test - definitely ok around the 200 mark but there might be issues beyond that - need to test to be sure though so don't worry unduly.

Cheers,

They're from Gadget Infinity in Hong Kong - the older V2 model is available on eBay and there's probably some people on here who will be looking to sell theirs now the V4 is around.

Got my V4's today, have had a quick test and all ok' much better design to the receiver than the V2's.

Only gripe is that the receiver on/off could be positioned better for easier access when the flashgun is fitted.

Will post up some results once I have fired off a few shots on reliability etc.

mine arrived at the weekend
seems to work ok!

haven't worked out how to get at the transmitter battery yet

small phillips screw on the underside of the transmitter.

the top case will ease off - mind the aerial and losing the small screw when you turn it over ;)

just out of interest what flashguns are you using v2 or v4,

might be interested in some v2 sets

i just have the sigma ef500dg sup, which can be trigger of cam but has no range. but want another flash , then all the bits needed to have both off came and better distance from me

Yeah that flashgun is listed for the V4's, I would not bother with the V2's now that the updated triggers are out.

Have a look here
